Add a Sidebar - Whatever you put in a sidebar will show on all pages of your profile.

Create a Shortcut Dashboard - By Using your favourites block or any block for that matter you can create one click short cuts to all parts of your settings, such as Recently Updated Friends Profiles, Your Communities, Recently Visited Communities and so on. If someone else clicks on those links they will only be taken to their own pages even though your url will be shown on their web browser.

Find Lost Friends and Work Mates - Put your surnames, given name and towns you have lived in, in your tags block and then spread the word so more people do that - We could have long lost relatives on Yuku and never know it.

Use Your Yuku Blog - Using your blog will draw more visitors to your profile and who knows, maybe new friends. It doesn't have to be a master piece. Just a few sentences when you pop on to let your friends know what you have been up to.

Don't Hide Your Friends, Comments and Blog Away - Many of us, including myself, have been using tags at the top of the board for direct links to active blocks hidden away in our profiles. So many people get fed up with that extra click to post a comment that they don't often bother now as they did in the beginning. By all means keep your tags at the top but also show a few comments, at least one blog entry and your first 10 friends on the front of your board. This will show people that you are interested in interactivity.

Create a Fun Poll - Create a poll on your board if you have one or on a friends board if you don't and then add that poll question on your profile with a link to the post. Hopefully one day we will be able to put a poll directly on our profiles, but until that day, improvise.

Images - Don't fill your profile up with masses of huge images - for those of us on a slow web link it's a positive nightmare and many times a profile will take so long to load that one clicks off before reading anything - Keep things interesting but simple.

Spring Widgets - What a wonderful tool. Not only can you show your visitors, at a glance, the last 20 posts you have made but you can also add your friends feeds and by scrolling through the menu see at a glance who has made a new post.

Show Yourself - On places such as Myspace, Facebook and hi5 people tend to show their own image instead of an avatar. If your avatar is not an image of yourself then think about putting your photo on your profile somewhere. If you are going interactive then people will like to see who they are interacting with.

Many people now play on Facebook, hi5 and Myspace because of the interactivity of their profiles - Yuku can be just as interactive with a little imagination.

And finally. If you have any ideas for making the Yuku profile more interesting and interactive then do let me know so I can add it to this list.
