Richard Dean Anderson just has to be my all time favourite.
Although I do like Bruce Willis even though, in my eyes, he can't act for nuts, lol. |

Do you remember him from way back when he was "Jeff" on "All My Children", Zan?

No I don't actually. Oh! I'm going to have to look that one up on the web.
To be honest I didn't recognise him from anything else when I first watched Stargate. To me he was totally a new face although I obviously know now he had been around for a while. I thought at the time of the very first TV Stargate that they were going to have a hard job filling in Kurt Russells charactor. But by the end of the first 2 progs, which if I remember rightly were a 2 parter, he for me was "The" Jack O' Neil. That man has no business to be so gorgeous at his age, rofl. Btw, it's so nice to see you having a wander over here. We don't pass each other much nowadays. |

I guess I don't pass anywhere much lately. Mostly I am in imports! When I was a kid I watched All my Children....but I mixed that up with the show he was
on, "General Hospital". There were 4 soaps in a row on ABC.... GH was the last one of the day. And he was called Jeff... his character was a general
'goodguy' type...his wife not, lol. He was the younger brother of another character called Rick..a doctor. I cannot honestly remember if
"Jeff" was a doctor too. He was just cute, lolol. My other favorite on that show was Rick Springfield. He is an old fart now too...but still cute :D.

It's funny how men seem to get better looking as they age. That's if they take care of themselves. Looking at photos of Richard Dean Anderson as a
young man I can hardly see anything attractive in him.
Having said that, you can bet your life if I had looked at those images at that time and with me of that age I would probably have thought him gorgeous then. I also don't travel far now except for the profiles or my own boards and Support. For a long time I lost a lot of enthusiasum for message boarding but this last few weeks it seems to be returning. |

Now I wonder who it was that chose Bruce Willis. I must admit the photo I have of him on my profile does do him justice. And I do quite like a bald head
nowadays.

Out of the given choices I would opt for Harrison Ford.

The thing is, they are still all gorgeous men.
What started this poll off was because I realised that all my favourite stars were almost, if not actually, my age. Although I do appreciate the younger stars as well, such a Leonardo Di Capro, Brad Pit, etc. My favourite type of films seem to have all the older stars though. |

I chose RDA because of course, he's MacGyver
Used to love Bruce Willis, but his involvement with porn stars makes me not so fond of him anymore. (I think I should be better than that, but...) Harrison Ford is too introspective, I would need more fun on a deserted island.
Mel Gibson would probably eventually make me mad. I bet he is a chauvinist just because of some of his more old fashioned values.
But they are all still cute. But I'm more of Brad Pitt's age, myself (going on 38)

I must admit to never being interested or paying attention to their private lives. For me it totally spoils the image of the charactors they play.
I remember years ago I really liked David Niven, then one day I read his autobiographies. I thought what a horrible man he is and from then on it totally put me off of him. So I much prefer to remain in the dark about them privately to keep up the illusion, lol. |
